Or some decent keys. I am able to control virtual instruments at ease, providing me with a MIDI work station with vase capabilities. The power of the machine can be done via USB or via a transformer not supplied. It connects to your computer USB and both pitch and modulation wheels. I would use for anything your doing within an in-house studio. All in all, the functions it provides are solid.

M-audio generally has pretty good drivers. Originally posted on FutureProducers.

Just install the driver and plug it in. I don’t love this keyboard lol.

All user reviews for the M-Audio Keystation 49e

I mean it gets the job done. It 49s an output for sustain as well. Its pretty plasticy but it feels good and for the price i can not complain!

I have used a few other M-audio keyboards like the Axiom series and I must say the key quality and feel on those is much much better. Yes I understand that this is a very cheap and budget unit, but you would think that for what we lose in features, we could get some good keys.

I am running this on a Mac Book Pro that has a 2.

It has everything you need to make music of your choice. This is truly a product geared toward budget studios. It only affected the keyboard cosmetically. I don’t need a power chord. Write a user review.

I like the configuration of this controller because it is easy and to the point. It has a pitch bend wheel and a modulation wheel, along with a aidio slider.

M-Audio KEYSTATION 49e – Key USB MIDI Controller

The price of the 49e is one of the best parts, as just about anyone can have a great sounding MIDI keyboard rig with this a few virtual instruments at a very reasonable price. I’ve disliked the feel of the keys since I purchased it, and I’m currently trying to figure out what the heck I should invest in next You get what you pay for. It is relatively robust, although relatively light.

The keys are simply uncomfortable. By using our services, you agree to our use of cookies. I suppose though if you are a beginner and uadio don’t care about the feel, this is a fine studio unit.

They are advertised as semi weighted I believe but they don’t feel like it. I also have an M-Audio Oxygen 8 and while that has more parameters, I prefer having the extra keys on the 49e and the parameters on the Oxygen 8 really just makes things from confusing in my opinion. Does ahdio else feel the same way?

Although the 49e keeps it basic, what it lacks in knobs it makes up for in what’s important. No need for a manual since this thing is literally a piano and nothing more. Level configuration and nothing much akdio been reported as separate plug in, auio on, varying the octaves fiddling Pitch Bend or Mod-Wheel is super basic All in all, the functions it provides are solid.

I have no complaints about this products durability. So for me it’s 49ee. I guess it would be nice if there was a velocity selection.

I didn’t need any frills or crazy controls. I would use for anything your doing within an in-house studio. The difference in price makes it worth it imo.
